This Privacy Policy explains how Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information within the Cortina Invoice app.
Account information you enter (name, email); business data you enter (client/supplier names, addresses, GSTIN, PAN, contact details, invoices, purchase bills, items, ledger and payment records). This app does not currently transmit this data to any server — see "Data storage & security" below.
To operate core features on your device — generating invoices, tracking ledgers and payments, GST calculations and reports.
This version of the app stores all data locally on your device only, in the app's private storage area, and does not send it to any server. It is not currently encrypted at rest by the app itself — it relies on your device's own storage/lock-screen security. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data permanently deletes it; there is no cloud backup or account recovery. This will be updated here if/when server-side sync is introduced.
We do not sell your data. This app does not currently share any data with third parties, since no data leaves your device. A future WhatsApp/Email sharing feature is planned but not yet built — this document will be updated when it ships, with your explicit action required to trigger any send.
Invoice, ledger and client data stays on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. There is no server-side copy for us to retain or delete on your behalf.
Since all data stays on your device, you have direct control at all times: edit or delete any record in the app, or clear/uninstall the app to remove everything. Keep your own backups (e.g. exported PDFs) for records you must retain for GST/statutory purposes.

By using the Cortina Invoice app ("App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself or the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is available to any individual or business that creates an account for GST invoicing, purchase, ledger and expense management. A free tier, a time-limited free trial and paid Silver/Gold plans are available as described in the app.
GST rates, HSN/SAC codes and totals generated by the App are calculated from data you enter. You are responsible for verifying accuracy before issuing any tax invoice, estimate, credit note or debit note to a client or supplier.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Client, supplier, invoice, item and ledger data you enter remains your business data. See the Privacy Policy above for how it is stored and used.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or technical issues may cause temporary downtime.
The App is provided "as is". Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the App, including errors in GST computation resulting from incorrect input data.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gaya, Bihar.

All business data (invoices, clients, GSTIN, bank details) is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. This data is NOT encrypted by the app itself at rest — it relies entirely on your device's own storage protection and lock-screen. Enable a strong device lock and keep your OS updated, especially since exported PDFs and this local data can include GSTIN/PAN/bank references.
This version uses a simple on-device sign-in (no server-side password verification yet) intended for single-user/single-device use. Do not use this app on a shared or public device with real business data until account security is strengthened.
Report and PDF exports you generate may contain client GSTIN and bank references — share only with authorised recipients, and store exported files securely since they inherit no extra protection from the app.
There is no server-side account recovery. If you lose your device or clear app data without a backup, your business data cannot be recovered by us. Export/back up important records regularly.
