This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs payments, subscriptions, credits, and cancellations for Lexcore AI, operated by Lexcore Enterprises Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By purchasing a subscription or credits, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE
Lexcore AI operates on a prepaid, credit-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.
Key Understanding:
- Payments grant access to credits
- Credits grant access to AI generation services
- Once credits are allocated, infrastructure costs are considered committed
- This structure ensures predictable pricing and prevents service misuse or financial escalation
2. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION
2.1 User-Initiated Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting customer support.
Upon Cancellation Request:
Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing cycle
Access Continuation:
You may continue using remaining credits until either:
- The subscription period ends, or
- All allocated credits are exhausted
(Whichever occurs first)
End of Billing Period:
Subscription benefits terminate; unused credits may expire
2.2 Effect of Cancellation
Important Consequences of Cancellation:
- Cancellation does not trigger an automatic refund
- Unused credits may expire at the end of the current billing period
- Access to plan-specific features (priority processing, advanced models) may be downgraded after subscription expiry
- Historical usage data and generation history will be retained according to our Privacy Policy
2.3 How to Cancel
- Log in to your Lexcore AI account
- Navigate to Account Settings → Subscription Management
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation and provide optional feedback
- Receive confirmation email with effective date
3. REFUND POLICY CRITICAL
3.1 General Rule: No Refunds
ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
This policy applies to all transactions without exception, unless specifically stated below.
The following payments are non-refundable:
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual subscription fees
- One-time credit purchases and top-ups
- Add-on feature purchases
- Enterprise plan payments (unless otherwise specified in Enterprise Agreement)
- Promotional or discounted subscriptions
- Partial usage of subscription periods
3.2 Reason for Non-Refundability
AI infrastructure and operational costs are incurred immediately upon:
Credit Allocation
Once credits are issued to your account, computational resources are reserved for your use
Capacity Reservation
System capacity is allocated to ensure service availability for your account
Resource Provisioning
Cloud infrastructure, GPU time, and AI model access are provisioned based on your subscription
Platform Sustainability
Refunding allocated credits would create financial exposure and enable platform abuse
3.3 Limited Exceptions
Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate Payment: A payment was charged in error due to a technical malfunction (e.g., double charge for the same transaction)
- Legal Requirement: Required by applicable consumer protection laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Service Unavailability: The Service was completely unavailable for an extended period (72+ consecutive hours) due to a fault attributable solely to the Company
- Unauthorized Transaction: Payment was made without your authorization and reported within 48 hours with supporting evidence
Refund Request Requirements:
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to billing@lexcoreai.com
- Requests must be made within 7 days of the transaction date
- Supporting documentation must be provided (transaction receipts, error screenshots, etc.)
- Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
- Company reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the criteria above
3.4 Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14-21 business days
- Associated credits will be immediately deducted from your account
- Account may be temporarily suspended or terminated depending on the circumstances
- Refund amount may be reduced by any credits already consumed
- Processing fees charged by payment gateways may not be refundable
4. CREDIT POLICY
4.1 Nature of Credits
Understanding Credits:
- Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be transferred between accounts or to other users
- No Cash Value: Credits have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash
- No Exchange: Credits cannot be exchanged for money, gift cards, or other forms of compensation
- Digital License: Credits represent a limited, revocable license to use AI services
4.2 Unused Credits
The following rules apply to unused credits:
- Non-Refundable: Unused credits are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances
- Expiration: Credits may expire based on your subscription plan:
- Monthly plans: Credits expire at end of monthly cycle
- Annual plans: Credits may roll over for up to 12 months (plan-dependent)
- One-time purchases: Credits expire 90 days from purchase date
- No Rollover (Default): Credits do not automatically roll over to the next billing period unless explicitly stated in your plan description
- Account Closure: All unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion or termination
4.3 Credit Usage Priority
When you have multiple credit sources, credits are consumed in the following order:
- Promotional or bonus credits (shortest expiry date first)
- Purchased one-time credits (oldest first)
- Subscription-included credits (current period)
5. PARTIAL USAGE & MID-CYCLE CANCELLATION
NO PRO-RATED REFUNDS
If you cancel your subscription at any point during the billing cycle, you are not entitled to any refund, regardless of usage.
This applies to cancellations made:
- Mid-month (for monthly subscriptions)
- Mid-quarter (for quarterly subscriptions)
- Mid-year (for annual subscriptions)
- After partial credit usage
- Immediately after purchase (no "cooling off" period for digital services)
Examples:
- If you purchase an annual plan and cancel after 1 month, you will not receive a refund for the remaining 11 months
- If you use 10% of your monthly credits and cancel, you will not receive a refund for the unused 90%
- If you downgrade from Premium to Basic mid-cycle, you will not receive a credit for the price difference
6. PLAN DOWNGRADES & UPGRADES
6.1 Plan Upgrades
Immediate Effect:
- Upgrading to a higher-tier plan takes effect immediately upon successful payment
- Additional credits are allocated to your account within minutes
- Premium features become instantly accessible
- Upgrade charges are calculated pro-rata for the remaining billing period
6.2 Plan Downgrades
Next Billing Cycle:
- Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
- You retain access to current plan features until the billing period ends
- Credits associated with higher-tier exclusive features may be restricted or expire
- No refunds or credits are issued for the difference between plans
- Specialized model access (e.g., GPT-4, Claude Pro) may be revoked immediately upon downgrade
6.3 Plan Change Restrictions
- Plan changes may be limited to once per billing cycle to prevent abuse
- Certain promotional plans may not be eligible for mid-cycle changes
- Enterprise plans require approval from account management for any changes
7. ENTERPRISE CUSTOMERS
Enterprise clients operate under separate, customized contractual agreements.
Enterprise-Specific Terms:
- Refunds, cancellations, and credit policies are governed by the individually negotiated Enterprise Agreement
- Payment terms may differ from standard retail plans (e.g., invoicing, net-30 terms)
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with uptime guarantees may apply
- Custom credit allocation and rollover policies may be established
- In case of any conflict between this Policy and the Enterprise Agreement, the Enterprise Agreement terms shall prevail

8. ACCOUNT TERMINATION BY COMPANY
The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable laws.
TERMINATION CONSEQUENCES
If your account is terminated due to:
- Terms of Service violations
- Abuse of the platform or resources
- Fraudulent activity
- Legal requirements or court orders
- Chargebacks or payment disputes
Then: No refunds will be issued and all remaining credits will be immediately forfeited.
8.1 Termination Process
- You will receive notice of termination via email to your registered address
- You may have an opportunity to appeal or provide explanation (at Company's discretion)
- Account access will be revoked immediately or after a specified grace period
- Personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and data retention requirements
8.2 Consequences of Termination
- Loss of access to all AI services and generated content
- Forfeiture of all credits, regardless of purchase date or amount
- No refunds for any payments made prior to termination
- Potential reporting to fraud prevention agencies (for fraudulent activity)
- Permanent ban from creating new accounts (for severe violations)
9. THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT PROCESSORS
Payments are processed through certified third-party payment providers, which may include but are not limited to:
- Razorpay (for Indian customers)
- Stripe (for international customers)
- PayPal (where available)
- Other authorized payment gateways
Important Limitations:
- Processing Delays: The Company does not control payment processing times or delays caused by banks or payment processors
- Gateway Failures: We are not responsible for transaction failures due to bank-side issues, insufficient funds, or payment gateway outages
- Currency Conversion: Foreign transaction fees and currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the customer
- Payment Disputes: Chargebacks or payment disputes must be resolved through the payment processor's dispute resolution process
9.1 Reconciliation Assistance
While we cannot control payment processor operations, we will assist where possible:
- Providing transaction receipts and payment confirmations
- Verifying payment status in our systems
- Communicating with payment processors on your behalf for legitimate issues
- Manually crediting accounts for confirmed payments that failed to auto-process (subject to verification)
9.2 Unauthorized Chargebacks
Warning: Filing unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in:
- Immediate account suspension or termination
- Forfeiture of all credits and access
- Reporting to fraud prevention databases
- Legal action to recover disputed amounts and associated costs

10. CONSUMER RIGHTS & JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS
10.1 EU/EEA Consumer Rights
For customers in the European Union and European Economic Area:
- Digital Content Exception: Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to digital content (including credits) once delivery has begun with your consent
- By purchasing credits or subscriptions, you expressly agree to immediate delivery, waiving the withdrawal right
- However, you retain rights under consumer protection laws for defective services or misrepresentation
10.2 UK Consumer Rights
For customers in the United Kingdom:
- Digital content must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
- If services are significantly defective, you may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, or price reduction
- These rights do not override the general non-refund policy but provide recourse for genuinely faulty services
10.3 Australian Consumer Law
For customers in Australia:
- Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law may apply
- If services fail to meet consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy
- This policy does not exclude or limit rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law
10.4 Indian Consumer Protection
For customers in India:
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019 rights are preserved
- Disputes may be raised with appropriate consumer forums
- However, the prepaid, digital nature of credits generally excludes standard refund expectations
Governing Law: This Policy is governed by the laws of India. However, nothing in this Policy shall exclude or limit statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time for the following reasons:
- Changes in our business model or pricing structure
- Updates to comply with new laws or regulations
- Improvements to customer experience and clarity
- Addressing abuse patterns or platform sustainability concerns
11.1 Notification of Changes
- Material Changes: Significant changes affecting your rights will be communicated via email to your registered address
- Notice Period: Material changes will take effect 30 days after notification
- In-Service Notification: Policy updates will be displayed prominently within the Service
- Version History: The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision
11.2 Acceptance of Changes
Continued Use = Acceptance: By continuing to use the Service after policy updates take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.
